Breakthrough Energy Team Week
In May 2024, Breakthrough Energy held its inaugural BE Team Week, uniting employees from the US and Europe for an intensive week of collaboration and learning. As a member of the planning team, I collaborated closely with various departments, including leadership, HR, Communications, Finance, and Legal, to ensure the event's success. My main responsibility was to determine the optimal use of space to accommodate 150 attendees in the DC office, while also sourcing rental furniture to create an inviting atmosphere. I managed the office budget to secure essential food and supplies, assisted with booking meeting rooms, and led a team of five administrative temps to facilitate smooth operations throughout the week. This comprehensive approach was integral in fostering a productive environment for our team to connect and innovate.
